To swallow one might be regarded as a misfortune…

Yes, Pearl lost her third tooth today.  And, yes, as far as we can tell, she swallowed it.  Again.  She hadn’t even noticed it was gone; I saw the gap after school and asked her about it.  It was a surprise to me, too, as it was the lower front tooth which fell out, I was sure the top one would go first.

On the positive side, it saves me from making a decision.  I’d been wondering what on earth to do with fallen-out baby teeth.  I certainly don’t want to keep them, but I’m not sure about just throwing them in the rubbish either.  I think they would take a loooong time to compost, and they probably wouldn’t flush very well.  I expect the rubbish bin option will be the winner on the day, but at this rate we’ll never find out!

    I save EVERYTHING and even I throw away baby teeth. Because, ew. Plus I figure that they don’t take up too much space in the landfill.
