Babess and I went for a Spring walk today. We saw magnolia and daffodils, trees frothy with cherry blossom, brilliant yellow kowhai full of cheeky tui. There were a few tulips out, but no ducklings in the duckpond. We watched the goldfish in the goldfish pond for a little while, and wished other Spring walkers “Good morning” as our paths crossed.
It was lovely. We’ll have to do it again, when there are more tulips, and fluffy ducklings to admire.
