We had a quiet day at home today, an antidote to the Christmas overload of the last few days. Housework was done, as was some supermarket shopping. Fainjin and Babess delightedly played with their own and each other’s new toys. Pearl complained about having nothing to dooooo. We went for a walk and she rode her new scooter. It rained, which was good for the tomatoes and hollyhocks, side-by-side in my eccentric garden. Babess even had a nap at her regular time.
It was all very relaxed. The perfect day-after-Boxing Day.
