Henpecked

I was sitting at the kitchen table when Fainjin came roaring at me, closely followed by Babess.

“Mama!  Roar!  Roar!” roared my young man, waving a plastic dragon at me and laughing.

“Woar!  Woar!” said his echo, batting at my leg.

I was suitably fearful of the toy dragon and all the roaring, which made them laugh even more.

Then I saw what Babess was smushing against my leg and making roar, and I laughed hardest.  It was a tiny, fluffy, cute… chicken.

Roar!  Cluck-cluck!
