Dressing up

For the past three days, as soon as Fainjin arrives at daycare, he goes straight to the dress-up area.  He refuses to remove his yellow raincoat.  He gets a red fire-fighter’s helmet, then he goes looking for the red gumboots.  He wears this outfit all day long, and we can only persuade him out of it at the end of the day by reminding him that it will be there in the morning when he comes back again!

This morning he was trying to get Babess to wear a helmet too.  She, of course, goes straight for the “babies”, loads them into a wheelbarrow or toy stroller, and takes them for a walk.  She considered wearing a helmet to please her brother, but it kept falling over her eyes so she put it on top of a “baby” instead.
