Tonight Babess spurned her usual toddler cutlery. “Big girl fork!” she said.
“This one?” I held up a standard fork, it looks too big even to fit in her mouth.
“Yeah, thanks.”
When did she stop saying “Dan koo Mama”?!

You’re right! Less so with the third, I do find I savour her babyhood more. But you know what they say – we spend the first two years trying to get our kids to walk and talk, the next 18 trying to get them to sit down and shut up! 😀
